Hotel. A family hotel with many sports on offer. Ivory Playa Apart-hotel is situated in Northern Mallorca, on Alcudia Bay, just 50 mtrs away from the beach. It is ideal for anyone wishing to spend their holidays with family or partners, in a cosy atmosphere, attracting guests from all over the world. In Springtime we specialises in offering sports holidays, such as cycling, tennis and Golf. Rooms. The hotel has 168 rooms distributed between 152 apartments and 16 studios. All our rooms are modestly decorated, open, relaxing spaces with plenty of natural light. All the apartments are 34 m2 distributed in two areas, a living room with two sofa-beds and a double bedroom. Besides that, each apartment includes: - Individual Balcony.- American Style Kitchen with a two plated hob, Fridge, Microwave, Toaster, cutlery and crockery. - Complete bathroom with bathtub/shower, shampoo dispenser and hairdryer. - Air conditioning / heating (according to time of year).- Flat screen television with local, national and international channels. - Telephone with a direct outside line and safe deposit box. We have three apartments especially adapted for disabled people on the ground floor of the hotel. The studios are 22 m2 and have the same equipment as the apartments, with the exception of the extra bedroom. All the street facing rooms are double glazed with the system TECHNAL and CLIMALIT to guarantee you a peaceful stay. Gastronomy. As a guest you are always welcome in our restaurant. Bed-and-Breakfast as well as half-board bookings are available. The staff prepare a hot and cold breakfast buffet with something for everyone, and for dinner you have the chance to experience traditional plates from Mallorca and Spain as well as a variety of international food. We also offer an extensive wine list including varieties from around the Island. We have a snack bar open during the day, with a marquee covering – the ideal place to relax for lunch or an afternoon drink. Low Season. Our Hotel is the perfect place to combine sport and leisure. We are an ideal starting point to practice jogging and Nordic-walking by roads or by the beach. In collaboration with the town council we have the opportunity to use an Astroturf football field, indoor swimming pool (25mtrs), Gym with all the latest equipment, and 4 Padel Tennis courts. All of this situated just 2 kilometres away! Cycling. Mallorca’s good climate has lead to the rise of numerous cycling groups, both professional and amateur from all over the world visiting us to train and prepare for the upcoming season. If you are passionate about cycling our hotel offers a great starting point, and during the months of March and April, we have a special bicycle workshop and maintenance service available. Golf. Due to it’s idyllic environment, between mountain and sea, Mallorca offers excellent golf courses with spectacular views and modern facilities. The closest Golf Course to us is the award winning 18 hole Golf Alcanada, opened in 2004 and situated barely 6 kilometres from of the hotel. Other possibilities are: Golf Pollença (15 kms), Pula Golf, Canyamel Golf, and well known Capdepera and Son Servera courses at approximately 30 kms away. Hiking. Several options are open to the lovers of hiking and of nature: Cross the nature reserve of Albufera, visit the protected Pine Forrest of Cabo Pinar, or discover the numerous exiting hiking trails hidden in the heart of the Traumntana mountain range. Just a 30 minute drive away. Tennis. Near to the hotel there is a Tennis club offering 4 clay surface courts, and the hotel itself offers 3 tennis courts, and a multiple games pitch. Surrounding Area: The beach: 3,5kms of white sand beach awaits you, and our hotel is situated right in the heart of Alcudia Bay. Enjoy partaking in fun water sports or just relaxing and enjoying the view where sea and sky become fused together to create breathtaking images. Due to the calm waters, and lifeguards on duty, Alcudia Beach is very safefor children as well. Albufera Natural Park: Just 2 kms away you will find yourself submerged in the largest humid zone of the Balearic Islands, and one of the most important nature reserves in the Mediterranean. Within the 32km perimeter, “Albufera” contains four bird watching points and numerous walking and bicycle routes. Alcudia Old Town: Leave all modern conveniences behind, and become submerged in the past when you visit this historical Roman city. Take a stroll among and along its 13th Century medieval walls, visit the Roman ruins (123 BC), or shop in the traditional market (Tuesdays and Sundays). Alcudia Port: A complete wooden promenade giving you the chance to walk between boats, shops and restaurants. Don’t forget to keep an eye open for the returning Fishermen, bringing back the seafood for the majority of the shore side restaurants.
