Restaurant Miramar

Do you like seafood? There’s nothing like the “best seafood recipes” at Restaurant Miramar, located in the stunning Port of Alcúdia. The restaurant itself is a house and was founded in 1871 and has always stood out for its high-quality ingredients including seafood, fish, the best wines and homemade desserts. Octopus a Feira, monkfish dishes, rice dishes with crab, lobster stew, typical Mallorcan paella… Miramar makes our mouths water!

Of course, it also offers exquisite meat dishes that can be accompanied by Bearnaise or peppercorn sauce, in addition to numerous fresh salads with ingredients such as cod, peppers or grilled toppings.

Better still, in addition to its delicious cuisine and rich history which dates back many years, Restaurant Miramar also has one of the best views over the Port of Alcúdia. If you book in advance, don’t forget to ask for a table on the terrace, where you’ll have dreamy views over the traditional fishing port. If you enjoy good food and want to taste the best of Mallorca and Alcúdia, you can’t miss out on Miramar.

Bistró del Jardín / Maca de Castro

Are you already familiar with the famous Michelin Star restaurant in Port of Alcúdia? Restaurant Bistró del Jardín, now known as restaurant Maca de Castro, was launched in 2011 (although it started in 1996 as “Retaurante Jardín”), to offer the best Mallorcan products and cuisine to the most fortunate diners.

Mediterranean cuisine is the soul of this restaurant in Alcúdia, where fish and seafood are the main ingredients. The menu has been created and supervised by Maca de Castro, who has already received numerous awards during her career and has brought us the best of the “Mallorcan pantry” and its local produce every day. The dishes, or elaborations, are simple and preserve all the traditional island charms with a sprinkle of modernity.

Among the delicious dishes featured on the menu are fish and seafood ravioli, grilled octopus with olive mayonnaise or the Mallorcan coca made with their own “Xeixa” flour and vegetables from the allotment, which vary depending on season. There are various meat options, including Steak Tartar or roast suckling pig. On the dessert menu you’ll find a three-cheese cheesecake made with cheese from Zuberoa, or el Gató with saffron ice cream. It’s without a doubt one of the restaurants in Alcúdia that you simply cannot miss, especially as it’s located in such magical surroundings in the port and has a Michelin Star.

La Llonja Restaurant, very close to Alcúdia

The restaurant isn’t located in Alcúdia itself. It’s in the Port of Pollença, very close to Alcúdia, an emblematic part of the island. Everyone who stays in Alcúdia, one of the perfect spots to enjoy a gorgeous holiday in Mallorca, often visits La Llonja Restaurant to taste what’s on offer. In fact, it’s one of our top recommendations at Ivory Playa.

This spot offers pure Mediterranean cuisine and dreamlike views. The restaurant is located in the old fisherman’s market in the Port of Pollença and offers different spaces where you can enjoy both the food and the sea: a spot with a terrace and views over the bay and a large, summer terrace which opens out onto the Mediterranean Sea. It offers a weekly menu with daily specials and a wide range of mains, desserts and around 100 wines to choose from.

Among other dishes, the fresh mussels with coconut and coriander salsa, tuna tartar and grilled fish and seafood selection stand out. Of course, it also offers stews and paellas, perfect for summer in Alcúdia.
