You can start the tour by entering La Portella, the residential area containing the remains of three domus or Roman dwellings: the house known as Cap de Bronze, the house of the Dos Tresors (the best preserved) and the house known as Nord-oest. Continuing on towards the centre of the settlement we come to the Forum, which played the role of the main public square in the Roman configuration. It is worth noting that archaeological excavations continue to be carried out during the summer months. These days, the most striking aspects of interest in this central part of the city are the remains of the Capitoline Temple, the ruins of the city and ornamental elements, as well as the area of the “Tabernae” (commercial district).
