Where is Alcudia in Mallorca?

Weather in Alcudia

Mallorca, the biggest of the Balearic Islands is already known for its incredible Mediterranean climate and more than 300 days of sun a year, so imagine its stunning northern coast. It’s home to Alcudia, the city of paradisiac beaches, guaranteed fun and perfect weather.

As is to be expected from Mediterranean weather, Alcudia basks in moderate temperatures throughout the year and there is barely ever any rain (especially between June and August).

Weather in Alcudia in autumn and winter

During the winter months between December and February, the temperatures tend to drop, but the average temperature is generally a minimum of 10°C and a maximum of 16°C or 17°C. Generally, the coolest month tends to be January.

The temperature is relatively mild and warm in October and November, generally staying between 15°C and 23°C. It’s still a fantastic time of year to visit the area, especially to enjoy sports, wander around the old town, enjoy the food, a trip to the nearby city of Palma by bus and exploring.

Alcudia between March and April

March, April and May are an excellent time of year in terms of the weather. These months see brilliant moderate temperatures, a bit warmer than previous months, with maximum temperatures of around 18°C to 24°C. These are great months for coming to enjoy the island, the sun, trips to the mountain, family activities, cycling or hiking, as well as exploring and enjoying the city and its culture.

One of the best seasons to visit Alcudia is most definitely during the summer months. July and August are the hottest months on average, August in particular. July is generally the driest on the island of Mallorca, as it almost never rains (so as not to say never). Grab your swimming costume, sunglasses, camera and a trendy hat. You won’t need anything else! These are months packed with sun, sun and more sun (and plenty of fun).
